Didn't mean to go radio silent for such a long while, yet we're boogieing all the same. So this is what my time has been invested into for nearly 5 months of 2020. -) Daily focus on the J.A.C.I.M.; human behavioral calculator of individuals and societies computer simulation program, with a partnered programmer who decided to help me out. However many revisions and lacking passion for this type of time consuming project caused said person to diverge onto other software instead. Leaving me to find more help, when I finally finished most of the equation intertwined functionality across various game mechanic categories. Until that time and after a friendly goodbye from the previous programmer, I've been locked blindly in further development, revision, modification, experimentation, and learning programming too. *sigh* I slowly felt my creative ability begin decaying then falling off. Thus I took a break for the month, focusing on... -) Eternal Corruption is novel event in my Phantom Tree fictional realm. One that was quite a homage and directly inspired by the dead Resident Evil; Biohazard gaming series. I don't care much for any other media of this fictional series either. Only the games caught my attention, as a hopeful fan and now its nothing to me. After the company turned the series into a soulless low quality corporate product about multiplier gun shooting game play format superseded the actual reason you‘d look forward to the next release; the story itself. Yet my allurement for this gaming series lingered around the original writing team's convincingly realistic story telling style. Human reactions, micro organisms, events, characters. etc.
All which have been stripped from the Resident Evil series long ago back when Resident Evil 4 was released and Gun Survivor replaced the product series. Such a shame, yet it was an administrative decision from their top brass at whoever actually oversees the development for Resident Evil; Biohazard. Enough of such a rant, now onto more juicy matters! I obviously have no intention in keeping most of the Resident Evil ideas as they are, but both expand then intermix them into Phantom Tree. As with every other foreign idea from my creation’s inner realm. Thus this includes compiling additional ideas notes I’ve collected from all the back in 2016 until present day. Still don’t take my word for it, look at them yourself. Witness how much creative imaginative works I poured in for my Phantom Tree’s novel event of the Eternal Corruption series of inner transpiring events.

Since J.A.C.I.M.'s various game mechanic equations are all nearly finished, a programmer will soon be sought out to link it all together through overlapping game language code. Leading to a alpha version in the near future. [6-7-19] A recent conversation with a close friend of mine unearthed a sudden urge for nostalgia. Prompting me into replaying some greatest games I've ever played, and found satisfying. True enough I have a long list of unknown games which have yet be explored, let alone finished. Maybe an endless remaining discontent feeling that had been left after so many unfinished new releases attempting to pass themselves off as complete products. Or worse, more and more seem to be burned to a crisp of their former selves from an onset of various censorship from their original forms. Whether it be during the initial creation or after release. Never the less, most new games just lack what their former predecessor superior project products were able to provide through experience. Here are some on my list that I've been replaying. ) Resident Evil (2002) *gamecube* ) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003) {Mods+} ) Koudelka (1999) ) Killer 7 (2005) ) Siren (2003) ) Dhux's Scar (2009) ) BioShock (2007) ) Europa Universalis III (2007?) {Mods+} ) Victoria II (2010) {Mods+} Those still to be played, which are at the top of my list. Perhaps they'll remind me why they remain so bold despite future remakes, sequels, re-imagining, etc.) Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (2004) {Mods+} ) STALKER: Call of Pripyat (2010) {Mods+} ) SCP - Containment Breach (2012) ) Silent Hill 2 (2001) ) System Shock 2 (1999) {Mods+} ) Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor (2009) ) White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (2001) ) Fallout 2 (1998) {Mods+} ) Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game (2011) {Mods+} I have another 71 games with a {8-9/10} ranking that I felt would be rather overwhelming to place here, this time around. It should prove interesting to compare the newer with the older. [6-6-19]
Sigh, I couldn't sleep last night. At around 1am, remained awake until 4am, as there was a lot on my mind. One thought screamed the loud, it was, "Conflict", and how JACIM's Layer 0 will handle this human behavior. Yet it seems impossible, at this time, unless they are starving and then will rise up to violence. It can't be a choice by Individuals, Groups, nor Nations since the game mechanics including image & reputation, memory, experience, ideology; moral values, and habits. Aren't there yet, nor can be implemented in a timely manner, so... these AI Player controlled individual JACIM humans won't change their behavior towards the murders, kidnappers, thieves, blackmailers, stalkers, rapists, rebels, overall criminality, plus even the slavers won't be halted. Since the people can't figure out they require to change their ways to survive. Until Layer One, this won't be possible. So the first installment will mainly contend with politics, economics, research, foreign policy, immigration, government stability, taxes, economic regulation, genetics, land development, and such. I found myself wasting time attempting to simplify the hierarchy game mechanic in JACIM. Only to realize that it must be done or it'll be just as bland as our competitors in the gaming market.. So two weeks have gone flat, time to move onto the next portion.

[3-31-19] [1-5-19] [12-11-19] J.A.C.I.M. Game Mechanics - Ideology..... too much to talk about. Since it overlaps with every possible aspect in reality and thus society. *simplifying the blasted area has taken time, though it works* - Purpose & Goals of Individuals, Groups, and Nations. - Turn Processing for players. They turned out being a bit trickier than expected, yet several variants were founded. I choose my favorite of them. - Individual human character’s values in ability, stability, and ownership. Currency, debt, loans, etc. *Intelligence, Organization, Knowledge, and Awareness Revisited* - A.I. equation processing; Human AI Player's Value System were a headache yet.... should work. Guess we'll seen after finding a suitable programmer that can string the problem together. - Sometime this year, hopefully, my first game engine / simulator will be compiled into existence. Including the required funds to finally start up the world wide artist projects that'll push onto developing my 2,000+ novel world; the Phantom Tree. I'm rather overjoyed!! [+] J.A.C.I.M. Investor Plans..... - Charts to detail a rough draft on game mechanics that'll be implemented, then that'll be included from then on-wards in the years to come. - Imagery on influential games that helped craft JACIM. - Scenarios that will be crafted for the players to delightfully explore. Everything from aliens, magic, bio-hazards, warfare, gods, time travel, zombie outbreaks, cursed items, superheroes & super villains, vampires & werewolves, dragons, fairies, religion, cults, psychics, cops & robbers, secret societies, spy vs spy, organized crime, realistic marketplace, influencer, government experimenting through various political systems, simple folk, and or all of the above in a massive chaos whirlpool. [+] The Phantom Tree - I've been laying out additional events throughout the novel world's timeline. Those collected through notes back in 2015, 2016, 2017, and finally started working on 2018. Seems that original major 30 novel events from 2014 are a bit outdated. I can't wait to see the extra 10 or so that'll be added into the mix. [12-3-18]
